Invention Name: Dynamic Energy Handle

Description:

Using the traditional snow shovel, the act of snow shoveling (bending, lifting and throwing heavy snow) is a very strenuous exercise, causing many injuries and fatalities each year. After only two minutes of shoveling the average persons heart rate can exceed the upper limit commonly prescribed for aerobic exercise training (85 percent of the maximum heart rate).
Statistics show that four inches of heavy, wet snow on a 50 foot, two-car width driveway can weigh as much as four tons; equivalent to the combined weight of lifting and throwing four sports cars.
