About

Wacky Inventions is a buyer’s-guide and humor site about the strange end of the product world — the gadgets, tools, and inventions that look ridiculous in a photo but quietly solve a real problem (and the ones that very much do not).

What we do

We hunt down genuinely odd products, figure out whether they’re actually worth buying, and write it up plainly. Some are brilliant. Some are absurd. We tell you which is which. Our buyer’s guides round up the best (and weirdest) options in a category, with honest pros and cons, so you can decide in a couple of minutes instead of an afternoon.

How we make money

When we recommend a product, we usually link to it on Amazon. If you buy through one of those links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which products we feature or what we say about them — we cover things because they’re interesting, not because they pay. See our Privacy Policy for the full affiliate disclosure.

Who’s behind it

Wacky Inventions is edited by Kim, who has spent an unreasonable amount of time reading Amazon reviews of products nobody asked for. Read more on the author page, or see exactly how we pick products in our editorial standards.
