“Realizing one day that most chairs and lounges are incredibly uncomfortable, I decided to see if I could develop a chair that is truly comfortable for people of all shapes and sizes. As I got older and arthritis set in, I became aware of the difficulty most of my contemporaries were having getting in and out of low, soft, over-stuffed chairs. I recognized that the two most comfortable chairs I had ever used were my old-fashioned porch rocker and the recliner in my dentist磗 office. Therefore, the design parameters for what I developed and now call 碩he Relaaaxer? were to make a chair that rocked; reclined in the “astronaut” position; went from one position to the other easily; was easy to get in and out of-and most of all was comfortable! All of these goals have been accomplished with this remarkable chair.”
