The rear deck easily slides off to expose a large sandbox. Other customizable features include a working fire hose (that hooks up to a regular garden hose), a telescope, a periscope, 2 ship’s wheels, an American flag, and a brass bell. It also boasts two ladders for entry to all platforms from every level. Since the safety of our kids is a number 1 priority, extra care is taken to ensure safe passage throughout the vessel. Kids can climb through a hatch in the bow and safely climb all around the boat using numerous kid-friendly grab handles. Kids love to peer through the working periscope from below the deck, and spray the fire hose from the top deck on hot summer days. The rear deck keeps pets out of the sandbox when not in use and is sturdy enough for kids to safely play on when closed.
